Bilingual Mythical Critical Reading

The Path of Affection

Amb. Dr. Poet Suji Madesh – INDIA

—

Secondly: Reading in English – In the Tongue of the Golden Age

In the name of the Mother, the First Temple

Oh Ambassador of Love from India! What have you written? Is it a poem, or is it a prayer carpet woven with tears of light?

Your title The Path of Affection unfolds with gentleness… This is not a path… This is a destiny!

In the Scale of Construction:

Your poem is built on the architecture of Wishing… I wish… I wish… I wish… This anaphora is not repetition… It is incantation! Like a priestess in an ancient temple of Madurai, repeating a mantra until the heavens open!

You did not write poetry… You wrote a lullaby for all humanity!

Strengths Where Gold Melts:

The Power of Universal Simplicity: You used no complex metaphors… You used the primal words: Joy, Sorrow, Smile, Tears, Mother. This is the language before language… The language Adam spoke to Eve!

The Power of the Mother as Cosmos: You made the Mother not a person, but a universe… The warm embrace, the protective care, the true contentment. In your poem, Mother is not a role… She is a condition for existence… Like air, like sun!

The Power of Negation: You say: No sorrow, No sadness, No tears. You define happiness not by what it is, but by what it is NOT… when Mother is there! This is apophatic theology… Defining the divine by negation!

A Silken Touch (To Build, Not to Break):

Oh Poet… Your text is as pure as Ganges water… But if you had added one wild, savage image… One ancient, mythical image… Like: May your smile remain as the eternal lamp in a mother’s shrine that no storm can extinguish… Your prayer would become an epic!

Our Deep Philosophical Question to You:

If affection’s path is only gentle under a mother’s care… What is the path for the orphan? Is his path forever rugged? Or does the Universe itself become his Mother? And is the mother’s love you describe a memory, a reality, or a prophecy for all of us who are still children inside?

@@@@@@

The Path of Affection

@@@@@@

The path of affection unfolds with gentleness,

Ensuring that joy never wanes with each passing day.

There is no place here for sorrow,

Only the warm embrace of a mother’s love.

A radiant smile,

Ever-present upon the face,

Where sadness never dawns, and tears never fall.

Under the protective care of one’s mother,

Life can be lived in true contentment.
